Cinehub Casting, Chromecast and Screen Mirroring Help

Work out whether a cast problem comes from the sending device, receiver, network or viewing player.

Choose the title before choosing the connection

Open the Cinehub film or series page and follow its viewing options. The player on the selected service determines whether Chromecast, AirPlay or another receiver is supported. Cinehub's catalogue does not expose a video cast button of its own.

Cast versus mirror

A supported cast connection may hand playback to the receiving device. Screen mirroring duplicates the sending screen, potentially including notifications and other interruptions. If one method is unavailable, the other is not automatically equivalent in picture quality or support for protected media.

No cast icon

Check the player you are using and whether the receiver is supported. Make sure the devices are connected to the intended network. Some guest networks isolate devices from one another, so being near the same router does not necessarily make them discoverable.

Casting starts, then buffers

Try ordinary playback on the sending device. If that also buffers, investigate the stream or internet connection first. If it plays smoothly, focus on the receiver and local connection. Temporarily reducing simultaneous heavy network use can help you compare conditions without changing everything.

Sound or subtitles disappear on the TV

Recheck the audio and subtitle controls after the cast starts. A receiver may use a different playback interface. If the desired track is not available there, consult the viewing service's device support rather than assuming another Cinehub address will change it.
